Ofsted has praised Partou Bambinos as a “warm, inviting and stimulating” environment where children feel secure, valued and confident to grow. The report highlights the nursery’s inclusive approach, positive relationships and inspiring learning opportunities that help children thrive every day. Ofsted has praised Partou Bambinos Day Nursery & Pre-school, where “children experience a warm, inviting and stimulating environment” and “feel secure, valued and confident to grow and develop.”

Following an inspection, the official report notes that the curriculum at Bambinos “reflects children’s evolving interests, encouraging further curiosity and positive attitudes to learning.”  It adds: “Across all rooms, children access a broad range of activities that generally help them to develop new knowledge and skills over time.”

Ofsted recently changed the way early years settings are graded, replacing the previous single-word judgement with a renewed framework that focuses on safeguarding and a broad range of evaluation areas: inclusion; curriculum and teaching; achievement; behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines; children’s welfare and wellbeing; and leadership and governance.

Safeguarding standards at Partou Bambinos were deemed to be ‘met’ with the nursery achieving ‘expected standard’ in all six key evaluation areas, recognising that the team are delivering consistently high-quality childcare and education.

In the inspector’s view, children at the setting “form positive relationships with staff, who respond thoughtfully to children’s ideas and contributions” and “engage enthusiastically in their play, demonstrating increasing self-assurance, motivation and independence.”

The report observes that “established routines help children settle into the setting.” It continues: “Children who face barriers to learning become familiar with these routines, enabling them to understand what is happening and what will happen next. Children are eager and enthusiastic learners, who take pride in their achievements. They confidently recognise and share their successes with staff.”

The nursery’s approach to inclusion is also highlighted.  “From the outset, all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, establish secure relationships with their key persons,” the inspector writes. “They benefit from inclusive experiences and participate alongside their peers.”

Located just a few minutes from High Wycombe Town centre, Partou Bambinos is set in three acres of private grounds which incorporate stimulating attractions from large, secure fishponds to thriving vegetable gardens.

Each age group has a separate outdoor space to ensure the children can explore, play and learn in an environment which supports their stage of development and individual interests. The setting features spacious playrooms, thoughtfully equipped with stimulating resources that encourage creativity.

Sarah Evans, Partou Bambinos Nursery Manager, said:

“We have worked to create a home-from-home atmosphere where children are encouraged to thrive through an individualised approach to learning.

“The team seeks to identify any gaps in children’s development and, where necessary, implement a range of targeted interventions.

“I am pleased that these efforts are recognised in the Ofsted report.”

Kirsty Jackson, Partou Co-Managing Director, said:

“Sarah and her team have established a positive learning culture with children receiving appropriate support to meet their individual needs.

“Partou Bambinos is a happy place to be, with children making clear progress in their development across all age groups.”
