Understanding the Ofsted inspection changes
Ofsted are making important changes to the way that they inspect and rate children’s services and childcare settings; learn what these are and what they mean for families.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new Autumn and Winter menus created by early years nutritional expert Laura Matthews.
From Monday 13th October, our nursery chefs will be cooking up some amazing new nutritious and seasonal dishes for the Autumn and Winter months.
These menus have been developed in line with the latest Department for Education Early Years nutrition guidance to ensure the highest standards of healthy eating for your child.
Each weekly menu is designed to nourish and provide balanced meals which are fun and flavoursome, so children learn, develop and create healthy food habits.
We’re thrilled and honoured to have the opportunity to work with Laura Matthews on creating our nursery menus. Laura is a food consultant and early years nutrition expert and has worked alongside big names including Jamie Oliver, a well-known chef and food advocate. What more could we ask for!
Laura collaborates closely with our nursery food team and chefs to help create menus which are not only nutritious and delicious, but also support the wellbeing of every child.
Laura is all about nourishing little tummies with food that’s fun, balanced and backed by expertise, so we know our menus are in the best hands.

Our exciting new Autumn and Winter nursery menu has been carefully designed to deliver optimal nutrition, supporting healthy growth and development while introducing children to exciting new flavours and foods.
There’s a strong focus on seasonal ingredients where possible and using more whole foods and a wide variety of protein, dairy foods, fruits and vegetables, and side dishes to keep things exciting.
We’ve also introduced starters throughout the menu to give children the chance to explore a greater range of flavours, textures, and tastes at every meal. Ultra-processed foods have been greatly reduced, and each lunch and tea will include a serving of vegetables or salad.

Weaning is an important milestone for you and your child, and we have a separate menu for weaning here. For more information on weaning, read our beginner’s guide to weaning.

How many meals your child has in a day will depend on the session hours that they attend. In a full day there will be an opportunity for breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch & afternoon tea, making sure they never go hungry.
Water and fruit is also available to children throughout the day.
All of our menus have been created by a company-nominated chef, who has years of experience in keeping the tummies of children filled with nutritionally balanced meals tailored to appeal to children’s tastebuds.
All of our meals follow the latest health guidelines and are fully reviewed by an expert, external nutritionist. Our meals are prepared on-site daily using high quality, fresh ingredients.
