Partou team members have donated Easter gifts to local children in Manchester as part of the leading day nursery provider’s ongoing support for a charity that helps families in the city facing challenging circumstances.

Home-Start Manchester offers practical and emotional volunteer-led support to families with at least one child under five.

After previously delivering Christmas presents to Home-Start Manchester’s office in December, Chris Conchie, Partou’s Commercial Director, and Julia Szwanka, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice with the group, returned to Woodville Resource Centre in Cheetham with a host of Easter goodies.

These included Easter eggs, books, and arts and crafts for the children to enjoy over the upcoming holiday period.

Partou operates more than 100 settings in the UK, including six in Greater Manchester where the company has its head office.

Chris Conchie said:

“Once again, Partou team members have come together to spread a little joy by donating over 30 Easter gifts to local children.

“It was a privilege to return to Home-Start Manchester to hand them over, giving the fantastic team the opportunity to pass them on to the families.

“Holiday periods can be tough for many young children.  We feel privileged to help.”

Shelley Roberts, CEO of Home-Start Manchester, said:

“We are delighted to work in partnership with Partou and their recent donation of Easter goodies for the children we support will go down a treat!

“Children living in poverty often miss out on key special moments in the calendar, so simple gifting like this makes children feel valued and special like their peers.

“Thank you!”

Samantha Rhodes, Partou Managing Director, said:

“Home-Start Manchester’s goal is to give every child the best possible start in life, which mirrors Partou’s own mission as a one of the country’s foremost childcare providers.

“It was wonderful to see team members donate lots of thoughtful gifts which we hope will make a positive difference to young lives at Easter.”
