Nursery team members take part in paediatric first aid training at Partou Gingerbread House Day Nursery & Pre-School, practising emergency response procedures on a CPR training manikin during a hands-on session delivered by Tigerlily Training.

Team members at Partou Gingerbread House Day Nursery and Pre-School in South Croydon have taken part in first aid training delivered by Tigerlily Training, an external and trusted early years training provider.

Joined by colleagues from other Partou settings in the South East, the team engaged in theoretical learning and practical, hands-on scenarios to build confidence and readiness should emergency situations involving children ever arise.

We appointed Tigerlily Training as our approved paediatric first aid provider earlier this year.

In addition to in-person training, Partou team members have access to online refresher training to ensure their knowledge is kept fully up to date.

There are also opportunities for families with children at Partou nurseries to learn the basics of first aid under the guidance of Tigerlily Training professionals.

The session at Partou Gingerbread House, located close to Sanderstead and Purley Oaks railway stations, was organised by its Senior Deputy Manager, Jessica Pais, in partnership with Tigerlily Training.

She said:

“Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do.

“Investing in regular first aid training ensures our team has the confidence and skills to respond quickly and effectively in an emergency, giving families added peace of mind.”

Kirsty Jackson, Partou Co-Managing Director, said:

“The first aid training at Gingerbread House was one of many sessions taking place nationwide, reflecting Partou’s continued commitment to professional development and the highest standards of safety and care for children and families.”
