Partou are proud to partner with UNICEF to support children worldwide

August 13th, 2025

We are delighted to announce we are now an official partner of UNICEF, building on years of supporting UNICEF initiatives.

Learn more about this exciting partnership.

Having supported UNICEF for many years through fundraising initiatives, we are delighted to announce that we are now an official partner of UNICEF. This strengthens collaboration with the United Nations agency, which works to protect the rights of children, provide humanitarian aid and ensure that every child can reach their full potential. Our partnership with UNICEF is supporting a portfolio of targeted early learning initiatives and broader flexible funding, ensuring more children have the right to the best possible start in life, nurturing/supporting their health, learning and development.

We are supporting Early Childhood Education by contributing to UNICEF’s 5 Million Futures’ programme which aims to offer five million children globally access to quality pre-school education by 2030. Through this initiative, UNICEF is working with young children and their families to ensure that the most vulnerable children can gain the life-long benefits of accessing quality learning in the early years.

Partou is also providing flexible funding to enable UNICEF to deliver fast, effective aid.  For example, through the Global Humanitarian Thematic Fund, Partou is supporting the provision of rapid assistance to vulnerable children in crisis and emergency settings.

Partou is also supporting Core Resources, which are UNICEF’s most flexible and reliable funds. They are unrestricted and can be deployed wherever and whenever most needed, so that national systems are stronger and children’s rights are realised.

Samantha Rhodes, Partou Managing Director, said:

“UNICEF and Partou share one clear mission: every child deserves the best possible start in life. Whether it’s in relation to health, development or protection – children are at the heart of everything we do.”

“UNICEF possesses unique local and global insight on children’s rights. Partou brings pedagogical expertise, an extensive network and daily contact with parents and children. That is what makes this partnership so strong.”

“By pooling our knowledge, we can make a real difference to many young lives.”

Luke Brocket, Director of Partnerships, UNICEF UK, said:

“Children around the world pay the highest price for problems that they didn’t start, whether that’s due to conflict or natural disasters. They are the least responsible and often most affected.”

“Partnerships with organisations like Partou enable UNICEF to be there whenever and wherever children need us most. By leveraging one another’s strengths, we can deliver long-term, systemic change for children – and a legacy for our partners and the world.”

We look forward to keeping you updated about our partnership with UNICEF and the initiatives that we provide support for.
