Why choose Partou Manchester Airport Day Nursery & Pre-School in Wythenshawe?
Partou Manchester Airport, formerly known as Little Faces @ Manchester Airport, has been caring for children in Wythenshawe since 2017, and joined Partou in early 2026. The same nursery team welcomes your child in, now with a wider early years network behind them whose expertise and support we bring straight into practice here.
Our long-standing team is one of the first things families notice. Children see the same familiar faces year after year, and the practitioner who learns your baby’s comfort routine is often still with us when that child is getting ready for school. Alongside team members qualified for more than ten years, we have newly qualified level 3 practitioners bringing the most current early years training, so children benefit from deep experience and fresh thinking at the same time.
Every age group has its own room, designed around that stage of development, with its own bathroom area directly attached. Younger children never have to cross the nursery to be changed or reach a toilet, so those moments stay calm and children get back quickly to what they were enjoying. Children under two also have their own outdoor space, separate from the older children’s, giving babies and toddlers room to move and explore outside at their own pace.
We’re open from 7am to 6pm, including an early drop-off session from 7am-8am, a 9am-3pm school session and term time only places, to support families with various childcare needs. Employees of Manchester Airport Group receive a 5% discount on childcare, and we offer flexibility around shift patterns.
When Ofsted inspected us in July 2025 and rated us good, the report noted that children thrive in this warm, inclusive setting, and that children who need additional support or have special educational needs and disabilities are well supported. We work closely with speech and language therapists and other visiting professionals, so that support stays consistent wherever a child receives it. Our relationship with the Local Authority is strong too, and when a family needs support across a range of topics and circumstances, we can connect them with the right early help services.
We value strong relationships with families because we know this supports children’s early years growth and development. Families tell us they value seeing what their child has been up to while they’re apart, so we share photographs and updates through our app across the day.
Getting out into the local community is an important part of life at Partou Manchester Airport. Regular trips to nearby parks give children the chance to feed the ducks and build their vocabulary as they talk about what they see. We’re also just a ten-minute walk from Terminal 2, where children love watching planes take off and land. Seeing an aircraft leave the ground up close is a genuinely exciting experience that sparks conversations long after we’ve returned to the nursery.
Families benefit from safe, convenient on-site parking, while Manchester Airport train station and the Wythenshawe tram network are both within easy reach. Peace of mind is equally important, which is why CCTV operates throughout the nursery, and we’ve earned a 5-star food hygiene rating.
If you’re looking for a nursery in Wythenshawe with real flexibility around your working pattern and a team who stay long enough to properly know your child, we’d love to show you why Partou Manchester Airport is a great fit for your family.

Funded childcare
Partou Manchester Airport Day Nursery & Pre-School is proud to offer funded childcare places
Funded childcare is a government incentive fulfilled by Local Authorities which aims to provide financial support for eligible families accessing childcare at an OFSTED registered setting. Partou Manchester Airport Day Nursery & Pre-School work with Manchester Local Authority to apply childcare funding for eligible families.
Funding typically covers 15 or 30 hours per week for the 38 term weeks of the year across a maximum of 10 hours a day which will be applied in different ways depending how many weeks of the year your child is in childcare:
- Children who are in year-round childcare will receive “stretched” funding. This means that their 15/30 hours over 38 weeks will be stretched over 51 weeks of the year so children accessing year-round childcare at Partou Manchester Airport will receive 11.17/22.35 hours of funded childcare per week.
- Children who have term-time only childcare places will receive 15/30 hours funding per week over 38 weeks of the year. Term-time only places are limited and are subject to availability.
Government funding for childcare only applies to the care fee (as described above). Meals & snacks and consumables fees are fully chargeable for all sessions including funded.
Many families are eligible for government funded childcare, see our childcare funding guide for more information.
