Highlights from the Ofsted inspection carried out at Partou Bambinos Day Nursery & Pre-School on 29th May 2026:

“The safeguarding standards are met. This means that leaders and/or those responsible for governance and oversight fulfil their specific responsibilities and have established an open culture in which safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and concerns are actively identified, acted upon and managed. As a result, children are made safer and feel safe.”

“Staff are positive role models and, overall, children behave well and follow instructions. They enjoy playing cooperatively and generally demonstrate kindness and consideration towards their friends.”

“Children are eager and enthusiastic learners, who take pride in their achievements. They confidently recognise and share their successes with staff.”

“Staff supervise children’s play effectively and help to maintain their safety. They gather ongoing information from parents about children’s changes in their home routines, such as their sleeping patterns and feeding arrangements. These are then mirrored at the setting to enhance children’s sense of security and wellbeing.”

“Children are guided well to develop independence in their self-care. Toddlers and preschool children confidently pour their own drinks at mealtimes and manage aspects of their personal hygiene well, such as remembering to wash their hands after using the toilet.”

“Staff plan a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that reflect children’s interests and provide ample opportunities for them to be active in the fresh air.”

“Staff naturally weave opportunities to develop children’s early mathematical knowledge throughout the day. For instance, they encourage older children to practise counting during activities and routines. Older babies hear and begin to use mathematical language as they move up the climbing frame and down the slide. This helps to build a foundation in early mathematical concepts.”

“Staff identify emerging gaps in children’s development and take appropriate action to address these. Leaders responsible for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) work with staff to establish focused next steps. They demonstrate a clear understanding of local procedures and referral pathways. Leaders know when and how to access guidance from external professionals.”

“Children experience a warm, inviting and stimulating environment where they feel secure, valued and confident to grow and develop. They form positive relationships with staff, who respond thoughtfully to children’s ideas and contributions. Children engage enthusiastically in their play, demonstrating increasing self-assurance, motivation and independence. The curriculum reflects children’s evolving interests, encouraging further curiosity and positive attitudes to learning.”

Upon registration, you will be asked to pay a £75 registration fee (non-refundable) or a £75 registration deposit to reserve your child’s nursery place (see terms and conditions for eligibility).

What’s included in our fees? 

Our full fees are clearly broken down into care, meals & snacks and consumables fees for full transparency. 

Care fees include: trained, qualified team members taking care of your child, regular updates about your child and their progress at nursery, a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities tailored to the needs of your child, and use of the nursery building facilities. 

Meals & snacks fees cover the cost of all food and drinks whilst your child is in our care. Meal and snack times are a very important part of Partou nursery life, learn more about how we make food and nutrition enjoyable and educational for children in our care.

Consumables include; important daily care items needed such as nappies, wet wipes and sun cream. 

Discounts

Only one discount can be applied at any time:

• 5% discount for eldest child for siblings.
• 5% discount for Blue Light Card holders.

Partou Bambinos Day Nursery & Pre-School is proud to offer funded childcare places 

Funded childcare is a government incentive fulfilled by Local Authorities which aims to provide financial support for eligible families accessing childcare at an OFSTED registered setting. Partou Bambinos Day Nursery & Pre-School work with Buckinghamshire Local Authority to apply childcare funding for eligible families.

Funding typically covers 15 or 30 hours per week for the 38 term weeks of the year across a maximum of 10 hours a day which will be applied in different ways depending how many weeks of the year your child is in childcare: 

• Children who are in year-round childcare will receive “stretched” funding. This means that their 15/30 hours over 38 weeks will be stretched over 51 weeks of the year so children accessing year round childcare at Partou Bambinos will receive 11.17/22.35 hours of funded childcare per week. 

• Children who have term-time only childcare places will receive 15/30 hours funding per week over 38 weeks of the year. Term-time only places are limited and are subject to availability.

Government funding for childcare only applies to the care fee (as described above). Meals & snacks and consumables fees are fully chargeable for all sessions including funded.
