Online childcare account

If you are eligible for any of the funded hour incentives or tax-free childcare, you will need an Online Childcare Account which you can register for/log into here.

You can set up a standing order to pay directly into your Online Childcare Account where your 20% Tax-Free Childcare top-up will be added. If you are paying your nursery invoice via the Online Childcare Account, you will receive a payment reference for your child to pass to your nursery so they can identify the transaction.

If you are eligible for working family funded childcare, your eligibility code can be managed in your Online Childcare Account too. You will need to reconfirm the code every three months and the reconfirmation period will be visible in the account so it is a good idea to note this down where you will see it regularly as it is a family’s responsibility to ensure they have an updated eligibility code and to pass this to the Nursery before the deadline.

Families eligible for Additional Government Childcare Support for 2 year olds will need apply via their Local Authority who will be able to advise on managing payments.
