We are delighted to welcome all local families to our purpose-built day nursery and pre-school that stands within the grounds of Alexandra Hospital.
Alexandra Day Nursery offers fully flexible spaces for parents/carers that work for the NHS Worcestershire Acute Trust and offer standard sessions for children with families who work outside of the NHS – our friendly Family Care Team can answer any questions you may have on how this works.
We have a long-standing team with a wealth of experience and some of our team have been caring for children at Alexandra Day Nursery & Pre-School for over ten years! This helps to provide a consistent high-standard of early years childcare which sees us lucky enough to welcome families back with siblings. The team are highly qualified and we have team members with backgrounds in Special Education Needs (SEN) support to ensure all children are supported to grow and learn.
Our Nursery Manager, Holly, is a Qualified Teacher for both Early Years and Primary and also has a BA (Hons) is Early Childhood Education. This means that learning and development are central all activities at the nursery and children benefit from a consistent and well informed approach to the early years curriculum. Holly is especially passionate about creating exciting environments that inspire learning and lots of fun which provides the perfect setting for helping children to grow and develop with confidence and curiosity.
We are delighted to have a “Plastic Free Schools Accreditation” which helps us to ensure that sustainability is at the heart of our provision. Children love getting involved in recycling, learning about the environment and growing vegetables and herbs which fosters a deep respect of the world around them and how we use its resources. You can read more about Partou Alexandra Day Nursery’s plastic free status in our blog.
Children at our nursery benefit from spacious room and dedicated outdoor space which are all mindfully curated which are constantly evolving with the interests and needs of the children we care for at the centre. We are a nature-inspired nursery that has endeavored to create a home-from-home environment where children can develop their independence. You can see more of the activities our children enjoy on our Partou Alexandra Day Nursery & Pre-School Facebook page.

As part of the Netherlands’ largest childcare group, we’ve access to world-leading expertise in learning and development, so you can be confident your child will benefit from an experience as unique as they are.
Of course, care is as much about empathy as education, and ours is a child-led approach that emphasises building confidence and curiosity – so that every child in our care has the freedom to flourish.
