Why choose Partou Kids Corner Day Nursery & Pre-School in Sandbach?

Set in a large, converted Victorian building half a mile outside of Sandbach Town Centre, Partou Kids Corner is an exceptional, laughter filled day nursery and pre-school which can be easily reached by bus or car.

This historic building has tons of character and original features such as the patterned  flooring and old work house bells which spark curiosity and wonder in children. Our rooms are large open spaces with high ceilings and big windows which provide a light and airy environment which is perfect for early years learning and creativity. Older children have access to multiple rooms such as reading and home corners as well as a creative room which they can move around freely according to their interests.

Children at Kids Corner nursery benefit from extensive outdoor play and exploration space and are surrounded by nature and trees with cows and sheep in the surrounding fields.

The Partou child-led learning philosophy is incredibly strong at this early years setting with nursery team carefully developing learning activities in line with children’s interests and experiences outside nursery life, you can see lots of examples of these activities on the Partou Kids Corner Day Nursery and Pre-School Facebook page.

We also have a newly renovated outdoor learning space used to grow seasonal herbs and vegetables providing opportunities for children to learn about where food comes from, enhance fine motor skills, develop language and learn to care for living things.

Our sensory room is accessible to children of all age groups throughout the week. The room has lots of different lights, textures, relaxing sounds and activities to help children to explore, relax and aid emotional regulation. We also hold a monthly yoga session in here which is led by a trained instructor and children’s author which is great for developing strength, balance and coordination as well as providing an additional opportunity for emotional regulation.

Our Deputy Manager, Zuzanna, was awarded “Deputy Nursery Manager of the Year” at the National NMT Nursery Awards in November 2025. This award recognises a Deputy Manager who shows “outstanding leadership and communication skills and commits every day to creating an inclusive and transparent workplace.”

If you are looking for a unique nursery which provides children with the opportunities to build self-confidence and flourish all whilst having fun, Partou Kids Corner could be the perfect fit for your family.

Funded childcare

Partou Kids Corner Day Nursery & Pre-School is proud to offer funded childcare places

Funded childcare is a government incentive fulfilled by Local Authorities which aims to provide financial support for eligible families accessing childcare at an OFSTED registered setting. Partou Kids Corner Day Nursery & Pre-School work with Cheshire East Local Authority to apply childcare funding for eligible families.

Funding typically covers 15 or 30 hours per week for the 38 term weeks of the year across a maximum of 10 hours a day which will be applied in different ways depending how many weeks of the year your child is in childcare:

  • Children who are in year-round childcare will receive “stretched” funding. This means that their 15/30 hours over 38 weeks will be stretched over 52 weeks of the year so children accessing year round childcare at Partou Kids Corner will receive 10.96/21.92 hours of funded childcare per week.
  • Children who have term-time only childcare places will receive 15/30 hours funding per week over 38 weeks of the year. Term-time only places are limited and are subject to availability.

Government funding for childcare only applies to the care fee (as described above). Meals & snacks and consumables fees are fully chargeable for all sessions including funded.

Many families are eligible for government funded childcare, see our childcare funding guide for more information.

It's really good that we're kept updated with what meals he has and the activities he does through the day, staff are lovely, kind and very helpful. Like the fact he has a sticker chart, praising him with using the potty.

The best care I could ask for for my daughter. A detailed app to keep us in the loop throughout the day and always so happy to do anything you ask. Encouraging everything even when doesn't do everything at home (eating well, potty training etc.).

I can not fault the key worker in my child's room (foxgloves). My daughter loves coming into nursery and I know she's well looked after. My daughter has come on lots in all rooms she has been in. My only slight issue is some of the cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall I'm happy with the staff
