Enter through our doors and you’ll find exciting resources, rooms and a team of childcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering the very best quality childcare. We are also lucky to have large on-site parking which makes pick-up and drop-off safe and convenient for families.
Our long-standing nursery team is highly qualified and provides excellent childcare, with some of our team members working here at Partou Nursery Lane for many years. A solid and stable team builds familiarity for children and helps them to build confidence through consistency. Our nursery team learns about children’s personalities, interests and experiences and uses these to curate personalised learning activities which are engaging, fun and in line with the Partou early years’ curriculum.
Our nursery is a celebration of diversity! Our nursery team and children have varied and wonderful cultural backgrounds, and we love sharing these with each other through songs, storytelling, and play. We create an environment where every child sees themselves reflected and learns to appreciate the many identities, families, and experiences that make up our community. Our nursery team are also bilingual which provides support and familiarity for children who have English as an additional language to build confidence and language skills.
We have two baby rooms; one for non-mobile babies and one for more mobile, older babies. This allows us to provide a calm and nurturing space for our youngest babies, while giving more mobile little ones the freedom to explore safely and develop their growing independence.
Children enjoy exploring and learning in our gardens; we have one for babies and a separate one for toddlers and preschoolers, so all children are able to play safely. Children in our pre-school room also have free-flow access to a side garden. Outdoor play is an important part of the early years’ curriculum and supports children to build physical and personal skills as well as a love for nature and mood boosting benefits.
We hold a football session every Tuesday afternoon, run by Mini Kicks for toddlers and preschoolers. This encourages physical skills and co-ordination and skills development as well as providing an opportunity for children to build confidence, resilience, and have fun.

For us at Partou, childcare isn’t just a job, it’s a journey – one where every child leads us in a unique new direction.
As part of the Netherlands’ largest childcare group, we’ve access to world-leading expertise in learning and development, so you can be confident your child will benefit from an experience as unique as they are.
Of course, care is as much about empathy as education, and ours is a child-led approach that emphasises building confidence and curiosity – so that every child in our care has the freedom to flourish.
Care
We’re more than just a team; we’re a close community driven by our passion for childcare, and our commitment to each individual child’s development. We know that by working together, we’re stronger.

In our community, compassion isn’t just a word; it’s our way of life. By embracing our differences, we make our community more diverse and vibrant. We build strong, supportive relationships with the children and each other, based on trust and understanding.
Continuous learning
We believe strongly in development, for the children in our care and for ourselves. Through continuous learning, we help our team and our children reach their full potential. Together, we make a positive impact, in our communities and across wider society.
