Located on the Estuary Commerce Park in Speke, Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-School is perfectly placed for families who live or work in the Speke, Garston and Hunt’s Cross areas of Liverpool. We’re easy to reach from Speke Boulevard with great road links to the M62 and M57, and there’s bus access right on our doorstep. With a large on-site car park, drop-offs and pick-ups are safe and stress-free.
Partou Up & Away was built with children in mind and it shows. Our rooms are bright and spacious, and every age group from babies through to pre-school has their own dedicated garden so children can enjoy their outdoor space safely and build their physical skills in an age-appropriate outdoor environment. We also have a sensory room which children across the nursery use in small groups – it’s a calm, immersive space that supports emotional regulation and is especially popular with children who benefit from a quieter moment in their day. Our library area gives children a dedicated space to enjoy stories and develop a love of reading from an early age, and our pre-school children also take part in a structured reading scheme and a lending library, which is also available to all children, so they can share books at home with their families too.
There’s a real focus on school readiness at Partou Up & Away. Pre-school children take part in weekly sports sessions which help build confidence, independence and the social skills they’ll need for the transition to big school. Home learning is shared with families on a regular basis so parents can support their child’s next steps at home, and it’s tailored to each child’s age and development. We also support healthy habits early – all children brush their teeth at nursery, and we have regular visits from the dental wellbeing team which builds comfort and familiarity and lays the early years foundations for personal care.
We believe children learn best when they experience the wider world around them, so outings are a regular part of life here. Children visit places in the local community including Speke Hall, the duck pond and nearby shops, which is brilliant for building confidence and bringing learning to life. We also welcome visitors into the nursery such as the local police and fire service who visit throughout the year, and the children absolutely love our ‘Animals Take Over’ visits where they get hands-on experience with real animals.
Families are very much part of the Partou Up & Away community. We hold termly stay and play sessions where parents and carers can come into nursery and join in with their child’s learning, and we run monthly wellbeing mornings specifically for parents and carers too. Our monthly newsletter keeps families up to date with everything that’s been happening and what’s coming up. It’s all part of how we keep that connection between home and nursery strong which helps children to thrive.

As part of the Netherlands’ largest childcare group, we’ve access to world-leading expertise in learning and development, so you can be confident your child will benefit from an experience as unique as they are.
